Scenario 1 - If the environment is really being negatively affected by humans - I am not part of that and I am helping nature and humanity.
Scenario 2- If the environment is not being affected by human activity-- i am still saving a lot of money and will have more left over on retirement.
So...being green has no downsides but may have a very big upside and may save the world.
